Nestled at the heart of the vineyards of Angers and the Loire Valley, Camping de l'etang is happy to welcome you to its lush, green 4-star campsite. Set around the former farmhouse of the Château de Brissac, Camping de l'etang benefits from a preserved natural environment that's perfect for rest and recreation.

Loire Valley and the castles, Anjou wines, troglodytes and caves, special restaurants, beautiful villages, so many things to discover!

The 4-star campsite, between Angers and Saumur in France, offers a wide range of services for comfortable, relaxing holidays. Camping de l'Etang enjoys top quality facilities, which blend perfectly into the surrounding countryside where fishing and excursions go hand-in-hand with relaxation and fun.

Come and explore the many facets of a region famed for its châteaux and wines. Discover the beautiful blue and golden hues of the charming villages built in slate and tuffeau, and the unique smell of the troglodytic houses and their cellars. With its outstanding heritage, the region has conserved all its authenticity down through the centuries, especially thanks to its local cuisine (fouées – little rolls filled with rillettes, pommes tapées – dried apples). The Loire, the last untamed river in Europe and on the UNESCO World Heritage List, offers a wide range of leisure activities, from fishing to windsurfing, not to forget boat rides on a traditional small vessel called a gabare.

In May and June, an itinerant concert staged on traditional boats moored by the river banks, the Anjou Festival, the National Book and Wine Days, and the cycling festival on the banks of the Loire. Throughout the season you can go and visit Saumur and Angers, with their museums, old towns, markets, châteaux, manor houses and troglodytic houses.
